Your pinball machine can be fixed
A broken pinball machine is a lot less fun than a working pinball machine.
In-home serviceIf your pinball machine just needs a few tweaks and adjustments, it can likely be repaired in your own home. We will take the time to diagnose and repair the issue, often in only one visit. Occasionally, parts may be required or circuit boards may need off-site servicing. In those cases we usually get things running with just one return visit. Either way, we make the process smooth and painless. Contact us for more information.

In-shop serviceIf your pinball machine requires extensive refurbishment, it can be brought to the London Pinball workshop. Over the course of several days, we will diagnose and repair any issues, clean, wax and re-rubber the playfield, replace any parts as necessary, and ensure that the machine plays as well as possible (and often better than ever).

What does it cost?

In your home:
The standard service call rate is $125. This includes up to one hour of diagnosis and service time. Each half hour thereafter is billed at a rate of $50. Naturally, parts and other supplies are in addition to the service rate. Also, for service calls outside of London, there is a travel charge of 95 cents per kilometre, but this is only charged for one direction unless expressly stated otherwise in advance. In our shop:
The cost for this service varies depending on the amount of work required, the service requested, and the era of the machine. For example, tearing down and cleaning a machine from the 1990's and newer takes much longer than those from the previous eras. Our shop rate is $100/hour plus parts and circuit board repairs. This service can take anywhere from four hours to a couple of dozen hours. To avoid surprises, a flat-rate quote can usually be provided once the machine has been examined. Turnaround time is about one-to-three weeks. Availability for this service can be limited, so contact us to reserve your spot in our small shop. |
Pick up and delivery service

We can safely and efficiently pick-up your broken pinball machine for service and return it to you when the work is complete. We will also setup the machine in your home, making sure that everything is working as it should before we leave. Standard service rates apply.

Virtual Repair Service
If you're confident in your own abilities to work on your pinball machine, but you need a little bit of advice and direction, we can help via the telephone, Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video chat. This service is billed at $20 per 15 minutes. If we determine during the course of this virtual repair session that an in-person service call is the best course of action, then we'll schedule an appointment and apply the cost of the remote session to the visit. Pinball Sales
Although it's not the main focus of our business, we occasionally have pinball machines for sale and we almost always have a game or two in the queue waiting for our love and attention. When time permits, we fix them up and sell them. Contact us to see what is waiting in the wings and when they'll be available for purchase.
Pinball purchasing
If you don't want to invest the cost of having your pinball machine repaired, we may be interested in purchasing it. We buy machines individually or in lots. Contact us to discuss this option. Please keep in mind that we're not interested in entering a bidding war or competing with other prospective buyers.
